IELTS : Speaking part 2
Part 2 allows you to demonstrate your ability to expand on a topic chosen by the examiner using more advanced vocabulary and grammar.
- You will be given a ‘cue card’ with topics and prompts
- You will be asked to discuss the the topics written on the ‘cue card’ using some of the prompts written there
- There will be one minute to make notes and think about the topic. You will be allowed to write down your notes
- You will be expected to talk about the topic for 2-3 minutes, you may use your notes to help you
- After, the examiner will ask a few questions regarding the topic eliciting more information.
